Media-neutral

Media-neutral data is data that is not prepared for a defined delivery medium or delivery condition. Media-neutral data serve as the basis for many different output situations and can be derived in a variety of channels. For this purpose, data must be kept as granular as possible so that it can be adapted to the delivery conditions at the time of delivery.
Media-neutral data is focused on the content itself, not on the layout. Design information is kept sovereign in the channel itself. By means of templates, the neutral data is placed in the channel and only there presented in an appealing way.
