SPP – Supplier Portal

System or online portal that allows suppliers to upload different data (e.g. product data, master data, …) independently. For this purpose, a standard format (e.g.: ETIM, eclass, …) or specific data format must usually be created and uploaded by the supplier. The exact details are specified by the recipient and can change regularly. After uploading the data by the supplier, it is often automatically validated and rejected or accepted depending on the result.
Depending on the supplier portal, data can also be created and maintained directly. This is particularly useful for small suppliers who may not have an export option in their own systems.
